Yields: 1 1½-pound loaf
1½ cups bread 
	flour
	1½ cups whole wheat flour
	1½ teaspoons salt
	1 tablespoon oil or butter at room temperature
	½ teaspoon baking soda
	2 teaspoons instant yeast
	1 1/4 cups buttermilk, at room temperature
Add all 
	ingredients to the bread machine according to the manufacturer’s 
	instructions. Process on the normal bread cycle. Cool, slice and serve.
